Seochang-kyu, vice president of Kyungpook National University, reported assets of 4.8 billion won. This is the largest amount among the 81 high-ranking officials required to disclose their assets from Dec. 2 of last year to Jan. 1 of this year. Among retirees, Ahn Yeong-in, former President of the Korea Meteorological Industry Technology Institute, reported approximately 4.8 billion won, ranking first.

The Ministry of Personnel Management published a notice containing this information titled 'Status of Individuals for Disclosure in March 2025' in the official gazette on the 21st.

The total assets reported by Vice President Seochang-kyu is 4.8181 billion won. This includes real estate worth 1.36 billion won from an apartment subscription right in Daegu's Suseong District in his and his spouse's name, a vehicle worth 10.72 million won, and deposits of 2.46782 billion won.

Park Si-hyung, vice president of Mokpo National University, reported the second largest assets among current high-ranking officials, totaling 4.37514 billion won. This includes land worth 1.1 billion won owned by his spouse, apartments in their and their spouse's name, and his parents' apartment worth 2.16 billion won. Park Hoon, Director General of the Korea Meteorological Administration's Next Generation Numerical Weather Prediction Model Development Team, followed with 3.47069 billion won.

Among retirees, Ahn Yeong-in, former President of the Korea Meteorological Industry Technology Institute, reported the highest assets at 4.77672 billion won. This includes real estate worth 2.94179 billion won from his apartment and his son’s office, as well as deposits of 2.46686 billion won. There is also a debt of 1 billion won related to rental properties in both his and his son's name.

Following this, the second highest assets among retirees was reported by Kim Jang-hyun, former CEO of KEPCO, at 4.74348 billion won, while the third was Lee Sang-min, former Minister of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, at 4.6 billion won.
