LG Uplus is teaming up with Viva Republica, which operates the mobile financial service "Toss," to launch a joint campaign utilizing "ixi"-based AI technology.
The campaign, conducted jointly by the two companies, allows Toss app users to select three keywords symbolizing 2024. LG Uplus will create various catchy characters and a yearbook using its self-developed AI technology, "ixi." Customers can save the character and yearbook generated by the AI as an image or share it on social services (SNS).
The characters will be based on Toss's original character, "Catch," and will be completed by applying the image-generating AI technology based on ixi. When customers select specific keywords, ixi analyzes these chosen keywords and creates character images such as "Energetic Catch in Love" and "Stylish Catch Bought with My Own Money."
Previously, the two companies formed a collaboration for AI technology partnership and agreed to jointly promote content marketing utilizing AI. Through this campaign, which is part of their collaboration, LG Uplus will also announce its AI currency agent service, "ixi-O," using ixi technology. In the future, LG Uplus plans to introduce the value of ixi technology and related services to more customers and support them in experiencing the conveniences that AI provides in their daily lives.
The campaign is open to anyone who accesses the event channel within the Toss app. Beginning with this campaign, LG Uplus plans to work with Toss to allow customers to experience ixi technology in various forms within the app.
