KT Mobile has been selected as a 'family-friendly corporation' certified by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family for six consecutive years, it noted on the 19th.

This re-certification received high praise for operating systems and corporate cultures that promote work-life balance in areas such as childbirth, child-rearing, and work environments. The family-friendly corporation certification is given to corporations that help workers harmonize work and family life, and KT Mobile has shown exemplary results in areas difficult for employees to use, such as the male parental leave utilization rate, employment retention rate before and after childbirth, and activation of infertility leave.

KT Mobile actively supports employees' time with their families through various systems. Representative examples include the PC-OFF system, flexible working hours, a monthly early leave system (M-DAY), and early leave for anniversaries, providing opportunities for employees to be with family during important moments.

In particular, M-DAY allows for one early leave per month, a system designed to ensure employees spend meaningful time with their families, and it has received positive responses. Additionally, through leisure activation programs such as travel points, book subscription services, and support for attending sports events, it contributes to improving employees' quality of life. KT Mobile also works hard to create a pleasant work environment with in-house break rooms, free snack bars, and regular in-house events, increasing employee satisfaction.

Koo Kang-bon, CEO of KT Mobile, emphasized, “The stability of the family enhances employees’ engagement, which in turn leads to corporate performance.” He noted, “Creating an environment where employees can recharge through ample leisure and rest at home is one of the core strategies in management,” adding that “KT Mobile will continue to expand family-friendly systems, striving for employees to enjoy a balanced life.”
