A rally will resume on the afternoon of the 7th near the presidential residence in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul with supporters of President Yoon Suk-yeol and groups calling for resignation.

The group "Candlelight Action" will hold a rally at 3 p.m. that day in front of the Volvo Building near the presidential residence, urging the immediate arrest of President Yoon Suk-yeol. The number of reported participants is 10,000. Candlelight Action plans to hold a rally at the same time every day until President Yoon is arrested. This group has been conducting a campaign for the resignation of President Yoon since the inception of Yoon's administration.

The New Right Solidarity and others will hold a "presidential protection rally" at 2 p.m. on the sidewalk in front of the Lutheran Church and near the Ilsin Hall. The New Right Solidarity reported to the police that a total of 3,500 people will participate.

The Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials (CIO) re-submitted a warrant to the Seoul Western District Court the previous day to extend the arrest period for President Yoon. Once the warrant is issued, the Joint Investigation Headquarters, consisting of the CIO, Korean National Police Agency State Investigation Agency, and the Ministry of National Defense Investigation Headquarters, is expected to proceed with the second execution.

From the 3rd to the 6th, when the validity period expired, large-scale rallies were held on Hannam Boulevard in front of President Yoon's residence since the CIO attempted to execute the arrest warrant. "Overnight rallies" continued, causing traffic to be controlled even in the middle of the night. This road connects downtown Seoul and Gangnam and is used by southern Gyeonggi residents to commute by metro buses to the city.

The Seoul city government sent an official document to the Yongsan Police Station that day, demanding active action against overnight demonstrations and entire road occupations beyond the originally reported scope. The Seoul city government plans to file a complaint with investigative agencies against related groups if traffic obstruction continues.
