The weather will be mostly clear nationwide, but the Chungcheong region, Jeolla region, and Jeju Island will be mostly cloudy. Snow or rain starting in the early morning in the western coast of Jeonbuk, northern coast of Jeonnam, and Jeju Island will extend to the southern coast of Chungnam in the morning, and to the northern coast of Chungnam and other areas of the Jeolla region in the afternoon. From the night, it is expected to spread to the southwestern part of Gyeonggi and other areas of the Chungnam region and the western inland areas of Gyeongnam.
The expected snowfall from the 6th to the 8th of this month is estimated at 10 to 30 cm on Ulleungdo and Dokdo, 5 to 15 cm (more than 20 cm in some places) in the mountainous areas of Jeju Island, and 1 to 5 cm in the western inland areas of Gyeongnam and mid-mountain areas of Jeju Island.
Additionally, during the two days from the 7th, snow is forecasted to be 5 to 15 cm in Jeonbuk (more than 20 cm in the western coast and southern inland of Jeonbuk), 3 to 10 cm in Chungnam and Gwangju/Jeonnam (more than 15 cm in the northern part of Gwangju/Jeonnam), 1 to 5 cm in Daejeon/Sejong, and around 1 cm in the southwestern part of Gyeonggi and the five islands in the West Sea. Expected precipitation from the 6th to the 8th is 10 to 30 mm on Ulleungdo/Dokdo, 5 to 20 mm in Jeju Island, and less than 5 mm in the western inland areas of Gyeongnam.
Rainfall is expected to be 5 to 15 mm in Jeonbuk, 5 to 10 mm in Gwangju/Jeonnam, around 5 mm in Chungnam, less than 5 mm in Daejeon/Sejong, and around 1 mm in the southwestern part of Gyeonggi and the five islands in the West Sea, during the two days from the 7th.
In the western coast of Chungnam, Jeolla coast, and Jeju Island, where a strong wind advisory has been issued, wind speeds are expected to be very strong, exceeding 20 meters per second (over 25 meters per second in the mountainous areas of Jeju Island). From early morning, there is a possibility of a strong wind advisory being announced for the Yeongdong area of Gangwon and the eastern coast of the Gyeongsang region.
The concentration of fine dust is expected to be at a 'good' to 'moderate' level nationwide due to smooth atmospheric diffusion.
Sea waves are expected to be 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East and West Seas' coastal waters, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea's coastal waters. The wave heights in the outer waters (offshore within about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 1.5 to 4.0 meters in all seas, including the East, West, and South Seas.
