Police announced on the 6th that they plan to summon and investigate Song Min-ho of K-pop group 'Winner' soon. Song is under suspicion for not properly performing duties during service as a social service agent.

In a regular press briefing that day, a police official responded to a question about whether Song had appeared for investigation by saying, “He has not yet been investigated, but after the analysis of materials such as CCTV is completed, he will be summoned for investigation.”

Song served as a social service agent from March 2023 to December 2024. However, reports emerged during this period alleging that he did not perform his duties properly, sparking controversy.

Police received a request from the Military Manpower Administration on the 23rd of last month to investigate Song for alleged violations of the Military Service Act, and have booked Song for investigation. On the 27th of last month, they raided the resident convenience facility in Mapo District where Song worked, seizing closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage and other materials. Based on these materials, police are investigating Song's commuting hours and other details.
