Freelance model and owner of a street stall selling fish-shaped bread in Sillim-dong, Seoul, Kim Jong-o, who gained attention on social networking services (SNS) for resembling actor Jung Hae-in, reported surprising recent developments after stopping the business. Kim said his fish-shaped bread would be showcased in a department store.

Recently, Kim stated on his social media (SNS) that thanks to the significant interest from people, the fish-shaped bread brand "Bungeo Mong” would be launched and showcased at Department Store A. He added that in addition to the traditional red bean and custard cream fish-shaped bread, he developed new options like sweet potato lotus, pepperoni pizza, and cheese grilled rib fish-shaped bread, which would be introduced at Department Store A for the first time.

At the end of last year, Kim gained attention on social media as the "handsome fish-shaped bread seller" resembling Jung Hae-in. The video of Kim selling fish-shaped bread received an enthusiastic response, reaching 10 million views. Kim noted, "In this era of high inflation, many street stalls selling fish-shaped bread are disappearing due to rising ingredient costs. It was disappointing that the winter snack costing 1,000 to 2,000 won was vanishing, so I started with the idea of giving it a try."

However, Kim ended up closing the business due to his fame. He noted, "The video of the (handsome fish-shaped bread seller) garnered significant attention, which was very gratifying, but unfortunately, there were too many reports, and the district office contacted me. I was informed I could no longer operate my business at the original location."
