The Korean Red Cross announced on the 19th that Ho-yeon Kim, chairman of Binggrae, and spouse Mi Kim, director of the Baekbeom Kim Koo Memorial Hall, have joined the Red Cross Honors Club (hereafter referred to as Honors Club), a gathering of major donors.

The couple donated 100 million won each to the Red Cross in order to support crisis households among the vulnerable groups, and joined the Honors Club. This marks the 21st simultaneous enrollment by a couple. Chairman Kim said, “It is meaningful for us to join together as a couple, and I hope to bring a little joy and laughter to neighbors facing economic difficulties.”

In response, Korean Red Cross Chairman Chul-soo Kim said, “I will do my best to provide the necessary support in various ways for the health and happiness of the vulnerable groups.”

The Red Cross Honors Club is a gathering of major donors who have donated more than 100 million won to the Red Cross. Currently, 285 members are active in the club.
