The Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) noted that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Christ University in India to strengthen research collaboration and promote joint talent development. Christ University, established in 1969 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, is a prestigious private university in India. KIST and Christ University plan to collaborate on the exchange of research personnel and students, the development of joint education and training programs, and the sharing of academic papers and information.

The Ministry of Science and ICT, along with Gyeongsangbuk-do and Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, announced that on the 11th, they signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at the Daejeon Research and Development Special Zone Promotion Foundation to revitalize regional technology investment and held a meeting to promote investment in local technology corporations. This MOU was initiated as Gyeongsangbuk-do and Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province each contributed an additional 3 billion won and 1.5 billion won to the 'Yeonghonam Special Zone Fund', which was formed in January with a scale of 50 billion won. The Ministry of Science and ICT, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province plan to strengthen cooperation to support the growth of local corporations.

The Science and Technology Policy Institute (STEPI) announced that it held the '4th Inclusive Urban Innovation Forum' on the theme of 'Inclusive Urban Innovation and Science and Technology' at the River Experiment Center of the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology in Andong, Gyeongbuk, from the 10th to the 11th. This event was hosted by the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology and National University of Hanbat, and organized by STEPI and the Korea Living Lab Network. Experts related to the water industry gathered to argue that a foundation for nurturing the water industry tailored to digital and regional characteristics needs to be established.
