The big data analysis platform 'DAYS' collects about 6 million data points per day, including customer responses, sales, weather, and various economic indicators, to provide insights into consumption trends. In fact, the Daesang Group reported that using this platform resulted in increased sales and improved productivity in global kimchi marketing and business-to-business (B2B) sales sectors.
It also established a 'Research and Development information integrated data hub' to strengthen collaboration among affiliates and introduced the customer experience management solution 'Salesforce' to enhance the efficiency of sales personnel.
Various activities aimed at securing in-house digital capabilities are also underway. Notable examples include the operation of the in-house DT communication space 'Digital Garden' and the 'Digital Camp,' which provides insights into global DT trends and experiences with advanced technologies.
Recently, as part of digital transformation education, training for 'data scientists' was conducted. The Daesang Group plans to nurture more than 30 data analysis experts by next year.
