Nongshim announced that it will re-release "Nongshim Ramen" on the 13th to mark its 60th anniversary.

According to Nongshim on the 6th, Nongshim Ramen was launched in 1975 and gained great popularity with the advertising copy "First, elder brother; then, younger brother." The re-released Nongshim Ramen features improved flavor and quality based on the original recipe held by Nongshim's R&D, tailored to recent consumer tastes.

First, the key ingredients, beef and rice, were sourced domestically to enhance quality. Nongshim Ramen incorporates domestic rice for a chewier and more elastic noodle texture, and it features a rich, spicy, yet refreshing beef broth made from Hanwoo beef and broth. Additionally, a seasoning soup made from green onions, chili powder, and fish sauce adds a zesty umami flavor.

The packaging of Nongshim Ramen inherits the design from its launch in 1975. It offers nostalgia to those who remember the past Nongshim Ramen while adding a retro novelty for younger generations. Furthermore, Nongshim plans to feature a special design package that modernly reinterprets the advertising copy "First, elder brother; then, younger brother."

To enhance communication with consumers, Nongshim is considering re-releasing two additional products in the first half of the year, alongside Nongshim Ramen.

A Nongshim official noted, "On the occasion of our 60th anniversary, we are reflecting on the meaning of 'the farmer's heart' represented by the Nongshim name, and we are reintroducing Nongshim Ramen to share warm feelings with those around us through delicious food. We hope to create treasured memories together by sharing the spicy beef broth flavor of Nongshim Ramen, which everyone, regardless of age or gender, enjoys."
