LOTTE Shopping issued a statement on the 31st denying media reports regarding the sale review of LOTTE HIMART.
On the same day, a media outlet reported that LOTTE Group is considering selling LOTTE HIMART for around 600 billion won to improve its liquidity crisis, focusing on private equity fund (PEF) operators.
In response, LOTTE Shopping, the largest shareholder holding about 65% of the equity in LOTTE HIMART, said, "It is not true that we are currently reviewing the sale of our shares in LOTTE HIMART."
