Lotte Wellfood announced on the 17th that the sales of its new product, Zero Choco Pie, which was launched in October, surpassed 6 million pieces (500,000 boxes) in just 50 days after its release.

On this day, Lotte Wellfood noted that it developed the product in response to consumer feedback expressing a desire for a Zero concept Choco Pie. The marshmallow, which symbolizes the Choco Pie, typically uses sugar as a primary ingredient, and many consumers hoped to reduce the burden of this.

Lotte Wellfood created the Zero Choco Pie after conducting more than two years of research and development, successfully replicating the taste and texture of marshmallows and the flavor of chocolate without using sugar. The caloric content is 110 kcal per piece, which is about 63% of the existing product.

Lotte Wellfood plans to strengthen its Zero brand going forward. This year's sales target for the Zero brand is over 50 billion won.
