Eugene Group began its first work of 2025 with a contribution.
On the 2nd, Eugene Group donated a total of 500 million won, including 300 million won to the Korea Social Welfare Community Chest and 200 million won to the Korean Red Cross, at its headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul.
This donation was made by major affiliates of Eugene Group, including Eugene Corporation, Eugene Investment & Securities, Dongyang, Eugene Leisure (PureunSol Golf Club in Pocheon), and Donghwa Corporation (PureunSol Golf Club in Jangseong).
Eugene Group has been conducting a 'donation ceremony' on the first business day of the new year since 2016, in line with the implementation of corporate social responsibility and to instill the spirit of giving in all employees. This year, to participate in the national mourning period for the passenger plane disaster, they chose not to hold the event and just donated to the fundraising organization.
An official from Eugene Group noted, "I hope this contribution will help some extent to the difficult and marginalized neighbors in various sectors of society," adding, "We will continue to realize positive social value based on ESG management."
