Kim Seon-kyu, chairman of the Hoban Group, said in his New Year's address on the 2nd, "For prepared corporations and individuals, crises can become new opportunities, so let us transform crises into opportunities and leap forward again this year."

During the New Year greeting ceremony held at Hoban Park in the Seocho District of Seoul, Kim emphasized the importance of the entrepreneurial spirit and solid management, stating that he aims to make 2025 a year of new leaps. The ceremony was attended by Kim, along with Lee Jeong-ho, vice chairman of Hoban Leisure, Song Jong-min, vice chairman of Hoban Industries, Park Cheol-hee, president of Hoban Construction, and Kim Dae-hun, president of planning at Hoban Group.

Kim noted, "The driving force behind the Hoban Group's steady growth while overcoming crises has been unwavering honest management based on the strong unity of the Hoban family and adherence to fundamental principles," and urged, "Let us overcome crises based on the resilience of our organization, which does not waver even in difficult economic situations."

On that day, Hoban Group also held an 'Excellence Partner Awards Ceremony' and reiterated their commitment to coexistence and mutual growth with partner companies. Hoban Group presented awards and prizes to 40 excellent partner companies in the construction, civil engineering, and safety institutional sectors.

Kim In-seong, the representative of Daoul Industrial Development Co., which was selected as an excellent partner company, expressed gratitude during his speech, saying, "I thank the Hoban Group for not sparing support for partner companies despite the continuing difficult economic conditions," and added, "I will do my best to ensure that Hoban Group and partner companies can achieve mutual growth by fulfilling our responsibilities and obligations in the future."

Hoban Group holds such award ceremonies every year to practice communication and coexistence with partner companies. Over the past seven years, they have contributed grants totaling 96.7 billion won, and implemented various policies including emergency management stabilization funds and scholarships for the children of partner companies. Additionally, as the first in the construction industry, they signed an agreement with the Mutual Growth Committee for the 'Partner Companies ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) Support Project,' enhancing cooperation with partner companies in terms of ESG as well.
