The Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH Corporation) announced on the 26th that it will recruit 1,308 households for the 46th long-term rental housing (Shift).

This recruitment will be conducted for six complexes, including the newly supplied Seocho Maple Xi, and 60 complexes in the re-supply areas such as Gangil and Magok.

The new supply consists of 97 households in Seocho Maple Xi (43·49㎡), 85 households in Guro Cheonwang Station Moa Elga Treview (44㎡), and 53 households in Seongdong Cheonggye SK View (44·59㎡), totaling 300 households across six complexes.

The re-supply target includes 678 households in the SH Corporation’s construction areas like Gangil and Magok, 242 households in the city of Seoul's purchased units such as Gangnam Raemian Grayton and Gangdong Olympic Park Foreon uncontracted, and 88 households in Seoul Ritz No. 3, making 1,008 households across 60 complexes and districts, including prospective residents.

To qualify for the general supply, applicants must be legal adults residing in Seoul as of the recruitment announcement date, must belong to non-homeowner households, and must meet the urban workers' average monthly income criteria (below 100%, 120%, or 150% by area), as well as ownership standards for real estate (below 215.5 million won) and automobiles (below 37.08 million won).

For the 'housing for vulnerable households' in the general supply, additional qualifications must be met for elderly individuals and people with disabilities. Rankings for applications for dwellings under 85㎡ are determined based on income conditions by application area, residence, and the number of times the applicant has subscribed to a comprehensive savings plan. For dwellings over 85㎡, rankings are determined based on the deposit amount and subscription period of the comprehensive savings plan.

Priority supply is aimed at elderly individuals, people with disabilities, those supporting elderly parents, households with two or more children, and veterans. Applicants who do not qualify for priority supply will be automatically transferred to the general supply applicants for the same complex and area.

Applications can be submitted via the internet or in-person. The application period is from Jan. 14-15 (first priority), Jan. 20 (second priority), and Jan. 22 (third and fourth priorities) next year. Applicants must apply on their respective priority application date, and if the number of applicants exceeds 200% of the supply units (300% for new complexes), subsequent applications will not be accepted.

The applicants for document review and those who win will be announced on Feb. 19 and Jun. 12 next year, respectively. Move-in will be possible from July 8, 2025. The complex layout, floor plan, supply units for each complex, and internet application method can be checked on the SH Corporation website. The announcement for the recruitment of residents will be posted on the SH Corporation website at 3 p.m. that day.
