On the 26th, Choi Sang-mok, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Strategy and Finance, visited the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises (Korea Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises) in Yeouido, Seoul, held a meeting with Kim Ki-moon, head of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises, and small and medium enterprise representatives. He stated, "It is more important than ever for the government and corporations to communicate closely and swiftly resolve urgent issues amid expanding domestic and international uncertainties."

The "Medium Enterprise Express Hotline" is an online platform for joint government and small enterprise proposals, and will be established on the KBIZ website, operated in collaboration with KBIZ and the Ministry of Strategy and Finance.

Choi, the Deputy Prime Minister, also promised active government-level support for small and medium enterprises and small business owners. He noted, "We will mobilize all available resources in the public sector, including unprecedented speed and scale of government budget execution," and said, "We will prioritize the recovery of livelihoods as the top agenda in next year's economic policy direction and focus government capabilities on customized support for consumption, construction, and different institutional sector policies, as well as support tailored to small business owners and small to medium enterprises."

During the subsequent current issues meeting, there were calls for the extension of the "expiration of temporary investment tax credits." In response, "Deputy Prime Minister Choi said he will actively communicate with the National Assembly to ensure swift legislation of necessary laws such as the Tax Limitation Special Act needed by corporations."

He further emphasized, "Turn recent challenges into opportunities for advancement, and demonstrate leadership through innovation and vision by leading in investment, exports, and job creation," stressing that "the joint efforts of the public and private sectors can serve as an essential foundation for strengthening industrial competitiveness in the long run."
