The government will hold an extraordinary Cabinet meeting at 10 a.m. on the 19th, presided over by Acting President and Prime Minister Han Duck-soo.
In the Cabinet meeting, it appears a decision will be made on whether to exercise the right to request reconsideration (veto) on six contentious bills, including the Grain Management Act, which the opposition party passed independently.
The bills passed the National Assembly plenary session on the 28th and were sent to the government on the 6th. The government's deadline to exercise the veto is until the 21st.
