Cybersecurity corporation Genians announced on the 8th that it has successively supplied its Zero Trust security solution "Genians ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access)" to over 10 clients, including a global steel corporation, U.S. financial institutions, Central American government agencies, large construction corporations and financial institutions in South America, and aerospace and defense corporations in North America.
Zero Trust is a security method that verifies identity, devices, location, and access environment each time a user accesses the network, granting only the minimum necessary permissions.
According to Genians, a global steel corporation belonging to the Fortune 500 selected "Genians ZTNA" after competing with other global Zero Trust corporations to introduce a new security architecture. The ability to enhance security levels through cloud-based segmentation policies and authentication played a key role in the decision.
A U.S. credit union also adopted Genians' ZTNA solution to meet security demands in the rapidly changing IT environment. The company noted that the solution effectively addressed security issues arising in remote work environments.
The government agency of a Central American country transitioned from its previously used Network Access Control (NAC) solution to ZTNA, achieving robust access control. Additionally, "Genians ZTNA" has been adopted by a variety of industries, including large construction corporations and financial institutions in South America and aerospace and defense industries in North America.
Zero Trust has emerged as a major topic in the global security industry since 2021 and is growing rapidly. In South Korea, the market is expanding through the announcement of the Zero Trust guidelines 2.0 and pilot projects for verification and implementation.
Kim Gye-yeon, the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Genians, said, "The Zero Trust business is achieving visible results through a series of orders in the global market," adding, "Based on the global references accumulated across various industries and regions, we aim to contribute to the dissemination of Zero Trust solutions in domestic and international markets and establish ourselves as a leading security corporation."
