Naver on the 30th announced that it has opened a 'Naver Map Usage Guide' page available in English, Chinese, and Japanese, enabling foreign tourists visiting Korea to enjoy their travel more conveniently using Naver Maps.
Naver Maps has established itself as an essential app for foreign tourists by providing the largest level of location information in the country, multilingual reviews, and real-time public transportation information. The newly created usage guide details ▲tips for exploring places worth visiting ▲how to navigate public transportation and will be distributed in leaflet form at places with high foreign visitor traffic such as Incheon Airport and Myeongdong Welcome Center.
Naver is collaborating with overseas influencers to support foreign tourists in using Naver Maps from the travel preparation stage, and plans to expand features next year to ensure that foreigners can easily access services such as restaurant reservations.
Since 2018, Naver Maps has continuously enhanced its multilingual versions to provide foreign language users with a level of service similar to that of Korean users. This year, it has strengthened the translation function of visitor reviews and place filters, and next year it plans to further improve multilingual search accuracy.
