NHN Payco announced on the 30th that it has released the 2024 Payco year-end settlement report titled 'What the Yono Tribe Loved Most About Payco' to reflect on the company's achievements this year.

Yono is an acronym for the English phrase 'You Only Need One,' referring to rational consumers who purchase only what is necessary.

This year, NHN Payco focused on improving service accessibility and user experience (UX). Notably, it revamped its offline payment function, enhancing the payment process, and added various payment methods preferred by users, such as smartwatch integration, to maximize convenience.

From a social perspective, Payco integrated its 'student-exclusive meal voucher reservation' service with the '1,000 won breakfast' program implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs to promote healthy eating habits among university students. As a result, this year, the cumulative number of users surpassed 90,000 at eight universities.

The company noted that users enjoyed Payco's convenient payment experience and practical benefits. The user who most actively utilized Payco coupons used a total of 591 coupons for shopping, and there were cases where users saved over 20 million won cumulatively.

In addition to basic discounts, the 'group coupon usage' feature, which allows members of a group to earn extra rewards together, encourages cooperation among users, leading to a total of 125,583 groups created in 2024.

Payco's business-to-business (B2B) welfare solution is utilized by more than 280,000 employees from 2,200 corporations in the country. The number of users for meal vouchers and welfare points services grew by 56% and 46%, respectively, compared to the previous year.

Payco has established campus zones at over 240 universities nationwide, providing discounts, rewards, and conveniences like mobile meal vouchers and transportation tickets. This year, the cumulative number of certified users on Payco's campus has surpassed 430,000.

The number of new issuances of Payco point cards in 2024 increased by 27.4% compared to the previous year. The launch of special editions featuring enhanced design elements, such as 'Jogu Man' and 'Kitty Bunny Pony,' has also positively impacted this growth.

This year, the number of users who received rewards using point cards reached 1.4 million, with the user who accumulated the most rewards collecting a total of 91.43 million points.

The 'Point Accumulation' service launched for app tech enthusiasts in July recorded a cumulative number of 6 million accumulation instances since its release.
