LG Uplus will send an employee delegation to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 in Las Vegas, USA, from January 7 to January 10 next year to accelerate its transition to AX (Artificial Intelligence).

CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is the world's largest exhibition of electronics and information technology, featuring advanced technology from over 4,500 telecommunications corporations from 157 countries, sharing business direction and industry trends.

This year's event, themed 'Connect. Solve. Discover. Dive In,' will showcase related corporations in areas such as ▲AI ▲sustainability ▲startups ▲quantum computing ▲energy transition.

LG Uplus formed its delegation with in-house AI experts to strengthen core competencies for transitioning to an AX corporation and to discover new business partners.

The delegation will be led by Sang-yeop Lee, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of LG Uplus, along with Choi Yun-ho, the head of the LG Uplus AI Agent Promotion Group, who oversees the development of AI-based products and services.

The delegation plans to focus on examining cases where AI technology has been integrated into mobile, home IoT, and corporate customer products, aiming to derive improvement directions for its AI, 'IXI.'

Additionally, they plan to participate in conferences of related corporations to establish strategies and enhance the service roadmap of the AI agent 'IXI-O,' which was launched last November. The strategy is to confirm global AI technology trends and discover promising corporations that possess advanced AI technologies.
