Riot Games announced on the 27th that it has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Korea Heritage Service for the '2024 Heritage Guardian' initiative and has donated 800 million won to the community fund.

Since signing an agreement with the Korea Heritage Service (formerly the Cultural Heritage Administration) in 2012, Riot Games has continued various sponsorships for the protection of national heritage, including recovery, acquisition, and utilization, for 12 years.

Including this sponsorship, Riot Games' total sponsorship amount has exceeded 9.3 billion won. Riot Games explained that it is the largest among corporations that are conducting sponsorship projects for the Heritage Guardian.

This sponsorship fund is expected to be used for the recovery of cultural heritage located overseas, the protection and support of domestic cultural heritage, and youth cultural heritage experience education that Riot Games has been supporting.

Cho Hyuk-jin, the representative of Riot Games in Korea, noted, "It is possible to sign a sponsorship agreement with the Korea Heritage Service again this year because of the players who support our social contribution project," and added, "We plan to have active interest in the protection and support of domestic cultural heritage, in addition to the recovery of cultural heritage located overseas, so we ask for your continued support and interest."
