AI-based security operation and analysis platform corporation Igloo Corporation announced on the 19th that it has completed the registration of two patents related to artificial intelligence (AI) and security information and event management (SIEM) to improve AI-based security operation efficiency and accuracy.
The AI patents acquired this time aim to enhance the performance and accuracy of AI models by improving automated machine learning techniques that simplify model development tasks. By expanding the machine learning process, which automates data preprocessing, model selection, and tuning, into two stages, it can enhance the fairness and reliability of the models, which have been pointed out as limitations of machine learning, while securing efficiency and accuracy in machine learning model construction.
The SIEM patent is a technology related to the analysis and processing of large-scale log data, focusing on improving the efficiency and speed of security threat response. It transforms massive log data collected from security devices into a structured format for easy analysis and classifies it by type for parallel distributed processing. By applying parallel processing techniques instead of conventional batch analysis, it can enhance response capabilities against the increasing attempts of cyberattacks by accelerating data processing speeds.
Lee Deok-chun, the representative of Igloo Corporation, noted, “Igloo Corporation has been dedicated for years to proactively defending against advanced new and mutated cyber threats and enhancing organizational security stability. We will continue to focus on securing key technologies that improve security efficiency and responsiveness, and support more organizations in establishing enhanced security response systems.”
