Aiz AI Works announced its mobile index "2024 Hall of Fame for Mobile Apps in South Korea (2)" utilizing its data analysis solution on the 19th.

According to Aiz AI Works' mobile index, the top app that surged in popularity this year is "TikTok Lite." As of last November, the number of TikTok Lite users increased by 3.95 million compared to January. Aiz AI Works' mobile index analyzed that TikTok Lite offers a lighter and simpler app environment compared to the original TikTok while increasing user loyalty on the platform through its reward services for new users.

Coupang Eats also saw a significant rise, with the number of users increasing by 3.26 million from January to November, making it the second-ranked app. Aiz AI Works' mobile index noted that although Coupang Eats raised its membership prices, the user base grew due to various promotional benefits, stating, "It is establishing a strong presence not only in the e-commerce market but also in the food and beverage delivery sector."

The number of users of Instagram’s text-based social networking service (SNS) Threads also increased by 2.51 million during the same period, while Toss saw an increase of 2.15 million users.

The top app for new installations is the Chinese e-commerce platform "Temu." Aiz AI Works' mobile index stated that despite various controversies regarding quality, Temu recorded an overwhelming total of 18.04 million new installations from January to November this year, securing the top position. TikTok Lite and Instagram also made it to the rankings.
