LG Uplus announced on the 16th that the cumulative number of subscriptions for its dedicated internet line 'BizOn' for small and medium enterprises (SME) customers has increased by approximately 200% this year compared to last year.

'BizOn,' which LG Uplus launched in May last year, is a dedicated internet line optimized for the network environment of small and medium enterprises (SME) customers. It is one of the dedicated internet line products for corporations, such as the dedicated line 'BizNet' for large corporations and 'OfficeNet' for small and medium enterprises (SME), designed to meet various telecommunications needs based on the size of the corporation.

In the case of BizOn, its strengths are low pricing and speed efficiency compared to other products. Customers have the flexibility to set upload and download speeds freely and pay according to those speeds, effectively reducing communication costs.

LG Uplus also implemented the 'Bandwidth on Demand (BoD)' feature. This allows customers to temporarily increase their internet speed to prepare for times when many users are online, leading to increased internet usage. For example, when a gaming company is conducting a large-scale upgrade or during course registration days when many students gather in university dormitories, the speed can be temporarily increased. This feature can be used once a month, up to a maximum of twice a year, without additional fees or the hassle of submitting separate documents.

Additionally, BizOn is characterized by enhanced security. It consists of a dedicated line for each customer, ensuring guaranteed speed and quality, and the VPN function utilizing post-quantum cryptography (PQC) can also be added for even safer usage. Furthermore, customers can choose the 'Premium Security Monitoring' service, which offers 24-hour monitoring to help them avoid security threats and feel secure.

In the future, LG Uplus plans to further refine dedicated internet line products like BizOn and BizNet to maximize usability according to customers' environments and patterns. Moreover, there are plans to apply AI to recommend pricing plans tailored to customers' usage patterns.
