SM C&C appointed Park Tae-hyun as the new chief executive officer.

SM C&C noted on the 10th that it plans to appoint Park Tae-hyun as the new CEO through a board meeting scheduled for the 25th.

SM C&C, a subsidiary of SME, a comprehensive entertainment group, operates in four major institutional sectors: management, advertising, content, and travel.

Park, the newly appointed individual, has built a career in the entertainment field for about 30 years since 1997 and has been overseeing management at SM C&C since 2012. He currently serves as the head of the management institutional sector and as a director for broadcasting and media at SME.

The new CEO noted, "I will strive to lead the growth of each institutional sector, including advertising, content, and travel, based on the management know-how I have accumulated over the years, as well as to create synergy."
