Volkswagen Korea confirmed the domestic launch of the coupe-style pure electric sports utility vehicle (SUV) ID.5 on the 9th.
The ID.5 is Volkswagen's second pure electric vehicle introduced in the country, featuring a coupe-style design and a model that encompasses performance and efficiency.
The vehicle is equipped with numerous advanced features, including an improved drive system, a more intuitive new infotainment system, and a voice assistant named IDA.
Til Schare, CEO of Volkswagen Korea, said, "We will accelerate the enhancement of our electrification leadership, led by our brand's first coupe-style electric SUV, the ID.5."
Deliveries of the ID.5 to customers are set to begin in the first half of this year. Details regarding pre-orders can be confirmed at Volkswagen Korea's nationwide showrooms.
