AI music startup “Pozalabs” announced on the 7th that it will showcase spatial audio remaster content of the girl group “aespa,” produced in collaboration with Samsung Electronics, Google, and SM Entertainment, at CES 2025.
Utilizing three-dimensional (3D) audio technology “Eclipsa Audio,” the content reconfigures aespa’s popular music videos, offering an immersive sound experience, Pozalabs explained.
"Eclipsa Audio" is a technology brand developed by Samsung Research and Google under the IAMF (Immersive Audio Model and Formats) technology brand, and will make its debut on the Samsung Electronics Neo QLED TV at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, USA. The feature is that it optimizes sound data such as sound positioning, intensity, and spatial reflections to create an immersive sound experience as if one is in a three-dimensional space.
The content unveiled by Pozalabs at this year’s CES includes music videos and concert footage of aespa’s “Weply,” “Supernova,” and “Armageddon.” Through this, attendees can experience IAMF 3D audio technology on-site at CES and enjoy spatial sound that adds a sense of space to existing content.
Pozalabs plans to highlight the new possibilities brought by spatial audio technology and to make a full-fledged entry into the global content market through CES 2025. In particular, as YouTube recently announced that it will introduce IAMF technology across its platform starting in 2025, there are high expectations that the popularization of 3D audio content will commence. Pozalabs is also developing solutions to support creators in easily producing and utilizing 3D audio in line with this change.
Kim Tae-hyun, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of Pozalabs, noted, “Through this CES project, we confirmed the potential for content creation using AI music and spatial immersive audio technology,” adding that the company will strengthen collaborations with Samsung Electronics, Google, and SM Entertainment to spread spatial audio technology across global platforms.
