The plan to reduce flights during the winter season has also been specifically outlined. From this month until March, there are plans to reduce over 1,900 flights. Song Kyun-ho, the head of management support, stated, "We have explained the reduced flight plan to related agencies and are proceeding with the administrative process, and we will provide alternative flight information based on the revised schedule in due course, and if the booker desires, we will assist with additional changes."

He said, "The airline industry is directly related to user safety, and the government supervises with strict standards. I hope we do not hinder the efforts of other airlines that are working to ensure user safety."

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport recommends that airlines maintain at least 12 maintenance staff per aircraft. As of the end of last year, Jeju Air had the highest number of maintenance staff among low-cost carriers (LCCs) with 470, resulting in 11.2 maintenance staff per aircraft. Following Jeju Air, T’way Air had 11.5 staff per aircraft, Jin Air had 10, AIR BUSAN had 8.8, and Eastar Jet had 8.9.
