ShinsungENG participates in a green energy construction project to achieve RE100 (100% renewable energy procurement) in the Gunsan Industrial Complex.
ShinsungENG announced on the 2nd that it secured a 3.5 MW solar power plant EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project, worth approximately 5 billion won, in a renewable energy construction project totaling 12 MW in the Gunsan Industrial Complex. This project is scheduled to be completed by 2026.
This project is a key initiative for energy independence in the Gunsan Industrial Complex and is expected to support corporations in implementing RE100 and contribute to reducing energy expenses. In particular, corporations located within the industrial complex will be able to reduce their power purchase expenses and secure stable energy supply.
In this project, ShinsungENG will provide solutions for enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability across the industrial complex, beyond just the construction of renewable energy facilities. In particular, the company plans to secure optimal power generation efficiency through its real-time monitoring system and operational management platform.
ShinsungENG has a vertically integrated business structure that encompasses everything from solar module manufacturing to power plant EPC. Leveraging the expertise of its dedicated RE100 organization, which has been operational since 2021, the company provides tailored renewable energy solutions for corporations. Previously, ShinsungENG has entered the renewable energy transition in industrial complexes by securing a renewable energy facility construction project worth 16.1 billion won for 17 factories nationwide.
