On the same day, Avikus signed a supply contract for the HiNAS Control autonomous navigation solution for large vessels with H-Line Shipping. Kim Sung-jun, representative of HD Korea Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, Lim Do-hyung, representative of Avikus, and Seo Myung-deuk, president and CEO of H-Line Shipping, attended the signing ceremony.

H-Line Shipping has decided to first implement HiNAS Control on five vessels. The company noted that after confirming safety and efficiency, it plans to expand the application to a maximum of 30 large vessels by next year.

HiNAS Control is an artificial intelligence (AI) based autonomous navigation system that guides and controls vessels by integrating information collected from various navigation equipment and sensors to navigate at optimal routes and speeds. Avikus, the developer, commercialized the second phase of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) autonomous navigation standards for the first time. This phase involves remote control capabilities with crew members on board.
