Kakao Pay announced on the 10th that it will waive payment processing fees for online small merchants until the 27th in celebration of the Lunar New Year.
This applies to all payments made with Kakao Pay money and credit and debit cards linked to Kakao Pay. To support small businesses, Kakao Pay is actively providing support for payment processing fees, opportunities for brand entry, and marketing and financial education.
Kakao Pay noted that this is a plan decided to assist small establishments facing difficulties due to weakened consumer sentiment at the beginning of the year.
