NH Investment & Securities said on the 7th that its retirement pension reserves have surpassed 8 trillion won. This is an increase of 1 trillion won within six months since June of last year.
As of the end of last year, NH Investment & Securities' retirement pension totaled 8.1257 trillion won, a 25% increase compared to the previous year (6.4999 trillion won). In particular, the funds managed directly by retirement pension subscribers in the defined contribution (DC) and individual retirement pension (IRP) categories increased by 30.5% and 45.1%, respectively.
NH Investment & Securities emphasized that it has shown significant growth in the retirement pension institutional sector, expanding its presence as a retirement pension provider. As of the end of last year, the number of DC transaction institutions at NH Investment & Securities reached 2,108, a 41% increase compared to the previous year. With the expansion of DC transaction institutions, the number of retirement pension subscribers has also significantly increased.
Most guaranteed products and public offering funds for retirement pensions can be transferred as real assets through NH Investment & Securities retirement pensions. Additionally, various bond products, including Government Bonds, local government bonds, and corporate bonds, can be easily and conveniently invested in via mobile. In particular, real-time investments in over 730 listed exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are possible, and a generative artificial intelligence (AI)-based ETF chart analysis service is also provided.
This year, NH Investment & Securities plans to offer various services, including an ETF periodic investment service and a retirement pension robo-advisor (RA) discretionary service. It was also selected as an innovative financial pilot project operator for providing a robo-advisor discretionary service for retirement pensions at the end of last year. In the future, they plan to launch various investment options through strategic partnerships with external RA specialists, as well as their own RA strategy.
In addition, through the Pension Asset Management Center, a dedicated consultation center for retirement pension customers, NH Investment & Securities will closely manage retirement pension clients from the enrollment stage and provide a subscription service for retirement pension content via a dedicated YouTube channel (Pension 100 Years) and Kakao channel (NH Investment & Securities Retirement Pension Friends).
