The MBK Scholarship Foundation announced on the 5th that it will recruit students for the 18th batch of scholarship recipients until the 13th for those planning to enter college in 2025.
The scholarship recipients will receive full support for their admission fees. If they maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in one semester, they will receive full tuition support until graduation (for medical, pharmacy, and Korean medicine schools, support will continue after an evaluation after 8 semesters).
There are no separate selection conditions or criteria; however, scholarship recipients must respect and adhere to the MBK Scholarship Foundation's value of "Pay it forward," which means giving back the help received to others.
The MBK Scholarship Foundation was established in 2007 by Chairman Kim Byung-joo of MBK Partners to financially support students who are excellent but face challenges in continuing their studies due to economic reasons. Over the past 18 years, a total of 202 scholarship recipients have graduated through the MBK Scholarship Foundation.
Chairman Kim Byung-joo noted, "The driving force that can change the world is education," and added, "We hope to help our students fully complete their studies and grow into key contributors to the development of society."
