Yang Jong-hee, chairman of KB Financial Group, said on the 2nd, 'Although it is expected to be a year of chaos and turmoil, KB will provide a strong sense of trust and stability that can alleviate customer and market anxieties.'

On this day, during the New Year's ceremony held at the KB Financial headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, Chairman Yang remarked in his 2025 New Year speech, 'This year is expected to be a year of unprecedented chaos and upheaval.'

Chairman Yang noted, 'As domestic and international instability increases and various conflict elements in our society make it difficult to foresee even a step ahead, KB must demonstrate the belief that we can deliver unwavering value to our customers and the market, regardless of any environmental changes.'

Chairman Yang emphasized the need for differentiated competitiveness compared to other financial groups. He stated, 'We need to propose new methods to our customers a step ahead of our competitors,' adding, 'In this organizational restructuring, we have assigned the mission of 'face-to-face channel innovation' to the banking strategy department. We aim to prepare channels that meet customers in new ways, beyond the existing spatial concept.'

He remarked, 'Just as customers can resolve everything remotely in their own spaces, innovations are necessary so that face-to-face channels also reach out to customer spaces,' and added, 'Now, each employee must become the channel itself that meets the customers, and we must move to where our customers are, reflecting this in our channel strategy.'

Chairman Yang continued, 'We will maintain a warm partnership that allows everyone to grow together.' He urged, 'We must continue to serve as the backbone of our neighbors and society by creating impactful social value through our caregiving projects and support for small businesses.'
