Kwon Nam-joo, president of the Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO), participated in the New Year’s ceremony held on the 2nd at the Busan International Finance Center headquarters, stating, "KAMCO will focus its capabilities to enhance economic vitality as an irreplaceable policy execution partner."
Kwon noted, "This year, our economy will enter an era of extreme uncertainty, facing unprecedented changes and challenges." He further emphasized, "In a situation where expanding the financial role for household and corporations support is unavoidable for the recovery of the livelihood economy, KAMCO will concentrate its resources on aiding vulnerable sectors."
He also added, "We must overcome the current difficulties with the attitude of 승풍파랑 (riding the wind and breaking the waves) to contribute to enhancing our economy's crisis response capabilities."
