The Korea Financial Investment Association held its first extraordinary general meeting for 2024 on the 30th and appointed the vice chairman, member directors, the chairperson of the self-regulatory committee, and self-regulatory committee members.

The new vice chairman is Yoon Byeong-woon, CEO of NH Investment & Securities, and Kim Young-sung, CEO of KB Asset Management, while Lee Gook-hyung, CEO of Korea Investment Real Estate Trust, was appointed as a member director.

The chairperson of the self-regulatory committee is Professor Kang Sam-mo of Dongguk University, and the self-regulatory committee member is Ko Gyeong-mo, CEO of Eugene Investment & Securities.

The term for the vice chairman, member directors, and self-regulatory committee members is two years, starting January 1 of next year, while the term for the chairperson of the self-regulatory committee is three years.
