Korea Investment Financial Group has carried out organizational restructuring and executive appointments for its affiliates.

According to the personnel announcement on the 19th, Korea Investment Financial Group promoted Jeon Min-kyu, head of the global research department, to vice president, and Jeong Hyeong-moon, head of the ethical management support department, to executive vice president.

Han Dong-woo, deputy minister in charge of global business, as well as Ha Mi-young and Kim Jeong-su, both deputy ministers in charge of global research, were promoted to executive vice president. Lee Jae-wook was appointed as the head of the management support department, and Jo Shin-kyu was appointed as the compliance officer and head of the compliance support department.

Korea Investment Securities promoted Yoo Jong-woo, head of the research division; Park Tae-hong, head of the equity derivatives division; Kim Young-woo, head of management planning; and Park Cheol-soo, head of the PF2 division from deputy minister to executive vice president. It also appointed Hong Hyeong-seong as the head of the management support division and Hwang Bo-hun as the head of the PB5 division, adding four new executives.

Korea Investment Securities also carried out organizational restructuring based on the goals of strengthening competitive advantages and overcoming weaknesses to achieve a definitive No. 1 position, accelerating globalization across all institutional sectors, and advancing performance-oriented digital transformation. The individual customer group established the retirement pension 2 department and the retirement pension operation department to expand its market share in the retirement pension sector, while newly structured the bond product management to enhance retail asset management capabilities. Additionally, it plans to establish a dedicated organization for the next-generation app development to further strengthen its competitiveness and digital capabilities in non-face-to-face business.

The PF group aims to expand its growth momentum through the diversification of its global portfolio by establishing a project finance department under the PF2 division and restructuring its alternative investment organization to broaden its position in the global market. The management group is focusing on creating revenue and strengthening market dominance in the fixed income, currency, and commodity (FICC) markets by establishing a fixed income and currency management division.

The global business group intends to effectively transfer the head office's outstanding retail DNA to emerging markets by establishing an Asia business division and developing strategic business models tailored to market characteristics. The digital division aims for a digital innovation that everyone can feel, clearly distinguishing the roles of the digital innovation headquarters and the IT headquarters while establishing a work innovation department to enhance productivity and accelerate digital transformation.
