According to Shinhan Financial, the joint training will bring together new employees from 9 group companies, including banking, cards, securities, life, capital, asset management, Jeju Bank, asset trust, and DS. This program is conducted during the training period of each company to foster basic knowledge of the group's history, vision, and culture.

Jin Ok-dong, Chairman of Shinhan Financial Group, visited the new employees during the training and said, “In the future, it is necessary to show not only what I want but also what the other person expects from me in a balanced manner,” and added, “I hope you become true professionals who possess self-leadership by taking the initiative in your given roles.”

Chairman Jin urged, “I hope you develop a habit of reading newspapers regularly and contemplating,” and said, “I want you to become a member of Shinhan Financial Group equipped with wisdom rather than just knowledge by nurturing the subjectivity of your thoughts.”

When asked about the secret to health management, he suggested, “If you visualize the start and end of each day in your mind and repeat small movements like breathing exercises daily, you can greet the day with a more organized body and mind,” encouraging them to adopt a regular routine.

After completing the 5 days and 4 nights of group joint training and individual training for each group company, the new employees are expected to be assigned to their respective workplaces.
