Lee Seok-yong, president of NH Nonghyup Bank, and about 50 employees visited farms in Gwangmyeong City, Gyeonggi Province, that suffered damage from facility collapses due to heavy snowfall last month, to assess the situation and began recovery activities on the 15th.

The record heavy snowfall last month resulted in severe agricultural facility damage in Gyeonggi Province, including over 6,000 vinyl houses and 1,500 livestock facilities. President Lee and employees worked on dismantling collapsed houses and cleaning up debris.

On the 29th of last month, President Lee visited farms in the area of Gwacheon City, Gyeonggi Province, where facility damage occurred, to comfort the affected farmers and to prepare special financial support measures for the snowfall damage.

President Lee said, “Facing the disaster site directly makes me acutely feel the devastation that farmers have experienced.” He added, “NH Nonghyup Bank will concentrate all efforts on recovery and will do our best for farmers to recover their daily lives.”
