Kakao Bank announced on the 11th that it will launch a 'smart rental management service.'
The smart rental management service periodically diagnoses the 'safety level' of the customer's rental home by analyzing property registration documents, building management records, and market prices, and guides customers on what they need to do before and after moving. Anyone over the age of 17 who is a Kakao Bank customer can use this service for free.
Customers can enter the address of the rental home they are currently living in or plan to live in, along with the lease period, on the smart rental management service screen to check the safety level assessment based on the registered address. The safety assessment results are provided by partner Big Tech Plus, and the address can be changed once a month.
The smart rental management service analyzes property registration documents, building management records, and market prices to provide the safety diagnosis results for rental homes in four categories. If there are no legal infringements and the deposit is deemed safe, it is marked as 'safe'; if there has been a recent history of legal infringements or if there are ongoing ownership-related applications, it is marked as 'caution.'
It is also possible to assess the safety results by categories such as home, landlord, and deposit. Customers can check at a glance whether there are any legal infringements to be aware of regarding the rental home, or if the landlord is a habitual defaulter. Kakao Bank updates the safety results weekly and sends notifications to customers in case there are any changes in registration or landlord information.
The service also provides a checklist feature to help customers not forget the tasks they need to take care of before and after moving. It allows customers to conveniently view tasks they need to prepare for, such as booking a moving company, disposing of unnecessary items, and scheduling installations for electronics.
A Kakao Bank official noted, 'Starting with the smart rental management service, we will offer a variety of housing-related services to assist customers in enjoying a comfortable residential life.'
