Actor Lim Won-hee provides honest advice to singer Dean when it comes to starting a family.
The Channel S original program "Lim Won-hee's Gastronomic Transmission" is scheduled to air today (18th) at 7 p.m., featuring MC Lim Won-hee and Dean in a food broadcast accompanied by camaraderie. Lim Won-hee expresses his feelings, saying, "My connection with Dean began in the past through the variety show 'Real Man,' so it feels refreshing to be able to share a meal together." To this, Dean recalls, "I remember the older brother, who worked harder than anyone else, despite having skin rashes in a tent during heavy rain," adding, "There's no way camaraderie wouldn't form. He felt like a quiet father figure to me, who doesn't talk much."
Meanwhile, Lim Won-hee praises Dean's nephew Nicolo, saying, "The more I see Nicolo, the more beautiful he becomes. I can't help but think, 'I would love to have a child of my own' when I'm with him." Dean cautiously begins, "Honestly, it's 'half and half.' Nicolo is very cute and beautiful, but I realize that there's a big difference between seeing him and actually parenting him."
He continues, "When I think about parenting, I think it's better to do it while I’m still a bit younger," adding, "My older brother Jong-min, who is about to get married, once said, 'When my child goes to college, I will be looking at my 60s,' sharing some realistic concerns. Watching this, Lim Won-hee honestly advises, "Considering economic ability and various factors, I also feel 'half and half.' However, it's better to start a family when the opportunity arises. If you think about it too much, you'll miss opportunities like I did," while making a sharp comment, "The concerns that Kim Jong-min has are trivial compared to mine. If I were to have a child now, I would be looking at 70." This comment turns the scene into a sea of laughter.
Every Tuesday at 7 p.m., "Lim Won-hee's Gastronomic Transmission," a romantic food trip with Lim Won-hee, will conclude its broadcasts on the 18th and will be revamped to return with even richer stories afterward. Channel S can be viewed on SK Broadband B tv channel 1, KT Genie TV channel 44, LG U+TV channel 61, and Channel S PLUS on SK Broadband B tv channel 52, KT Genie TV channel 259, and LG U+TV channel 94.
