Actress Jung Ae-ri shared a story about her mother.
On the 1st, during the MBN program 'Talking Show Dongchimi' (hereinafter referred to as Dongchimi), the topic of discussion was 'Born as a child, living as a parent.'
Jung Ae-ri said, 'When I try to talk about my mom,' as tears welled up in her eyes. Jung Ae-ri, the youngest of six siblings, stated, 'I grew up receiving a lot of love. I think my parents trusted me a lot. They never specifically told me 'no.''
She continued, 'When I was dating and getting married, they didn’t say much. Even when I notified them about my marriage, they showed me trust. Right after my debut, during my peak, I went to the U.S. just three days after getting married. I stayed at my parents' house for one night. It was the first time I saw my father cry. I thought I needed to live better.'
Jung Ae-ri noted, 'After 20 years of marriage, we ended up separating. After my father passed away, my mother and I lived together. A few years later, I said I would remarry. I never talked to my mother about my husband. My mother said, 'I know you remarried, and it's a bit sensitive, but I hope you’ve separated.' She later developed dementia. She expressed regret that we couldn't communicate more.'
