Actress Joo Hyun-young addressed rumors that she exited SNL Korea for parodying Kim Keon-hee.

On the 9th, a video titled "Joo Hyun-young's drunken truths. From the reason for leaving SNL to behind-the-scenes stories and personal skills" was uploaded on YouTube channel Sasingkin. In the video, Joo Hyun-young said, "Actually, when I left, my position was made public in an article. However, many people do not know that," adding, "I will clarify. My situation, including the reasons, was reported during my departure from 'SNL.' Just believe in that."

Joo Hyun-young previously stated that her departure from SNL Korea was to focus on her main career as an actress. Joo Hyun-young said, "There is no guarantee for anything, and it may be a choice that leaves some regrets, but I want to venture forth on a path that is a bit more unfamiliar, uncomfortable, and difficult."

However, in October last year, a YouTuber raised suspicions that Joo Hyun-young left SNL Korea after parodying Kim Keon-hee, causing the content to spread as if it were true. The YouTuber asserted this in a video titled "Absolute no parodying the supreme dignity Kim Dior! Why did Joo Hyun-young suddenly disappear from SNL?"
