In 'Divorce Insurance,' Lee Da-hee adeptly portrayed a multifaceted character.
The episode broadcast on the afternoon of Dec. 1 on the cable channel tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama 'Divorce Insurance' depicted the unexpected developments in the narrative of Jeon Narae (played by Lee Da-hee). Previously, it was revealed that Jeon Narae is the ex-wife of Jo Gi-jun (played by Lee Dong-wook), shocking everyone.
In the meantime, Jeon Narae, who began a meeting with the Divorce Insurance Task Force (TF) team, clashed sharply with Jo Gi-jun over the need for data acquisition. Furthermore, when left alone with Jo Gi-jun, Jeon Narae suggested to speak comfortably, and she showed disappointment at Jo Gi-jun's reply that he was not uncomfortable, drawing attention.
Subsequently, Jeon Narae moved under the guidance of Ahn Sang-man (played by Lee Kwang-soo) to collect data, arriving at a PC room where she was taken aback. However, adapting naturally as if she had not been surprised at all, Jeon Narae first asked Ahn Sang-man for instant noodles and began her work, making viewers smile.
Meanwhile, Jeon Narae's suspicious actions piqued viewers' curiosity. It was revealed that unlike her team members, she had another purpose. Above all, upon hearing the title of the vice president of the China branch, she smiled, further raising curiosity about her identity.
In this way, Lee Da-hee enhanced the drama's enjoyment with her expressive range, which varied according to the character. From the ambiguous tension with Jo Gi-jun to the witty banter with Ahn Sang-man, she depicted the character more charmfully with a diverse array of expressions.
Furthermore, she infused a subtle tension in the latter part of the drama, adding weight to the narrative. In particular, Lee Da-hee’s solid acting, which completed the mysterious character with appropriate rhythm control, heightened immersion in the drama.
'Divorce Insurance,' starring Lee Da-hee, airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 p.m.
