The annual sales of a reptile shop have been revealed, causing surprise.
On the 7th, a couple running a reptile shop appeared on KBS Joy's 'Ask Anything' (hereafter referred to as 'Ask Anything').
The wife noted, "I have to manage over 500 lizards for the reptile shop. There are crocodiles and turtles as well. The crocodiles and turtles are taken care of solely by my husband. There is an enclosure inside the store. The problem is that we also raised a squirrel and, because of my husband, we even had an ostrich."
The wife said, "An ostrich needs to be cared for like a baby for three months. I ended up raising an ostrich for three months. Whenever I turn around, it has gotten bigger. I had to clean up ostrich droppings while taking care of a 4-year-old child. My husband claims to manage everything, but in the end, I am doing it all."
Seo Jang-hoon asked, "Is your house quite wealthy? Can you live off that?" Regarding income, the husband said, "The annual sales are 800 million won. The number of beginners has increased, and there are more events now." Seo Jang-hoon asked about the most expensive lizard, and the husband said, "Each lizard costs 7 million won."
The husband stated, "I believe expanding the number of animals is a form of learning. I think you need to experience and raise them properly to provide correct distributions." He then mentioned, "My wife handles the online store uploads, and she wants to create and sell merchandise featuring her favorite reptiles," expressing dissatisfaction.
Seo Jang-hoon said, "If a reptile theme park is created and the brand is established, these concerns will disappear." In response, Lee Soo-geun said, "I hope reptiles aren’t raised in the house. It would be nice if the home could be a relaxation space where my wife can think only of the child and her husband. Otherwise, it can be tiring. It’s important to focus on my wife."
