Nongshim announced on the 6th that it will raise the shipment prices of 17 brands of instant noodles and snacks, including Shin Ramyeon and shrimp crackers, by an average of 7.2% starting on the 17th. This price increase is the first in 2 years and 6 months.

As a result, Shin Ramyeon and shrimp crackers will return to their pre-July 2023 price levels. Based on retail prices, Shin Ramyeon will be set at 1,000 won, while shrimp crackers will be priced at 1,500 won.

A Nongshim official noted, "We have endured price pressures by promoting cost reduction and management efficiency, considering the impact on consumer prices. However, due to rising costs of materials and supplies and exchange rates, a price adjustment has become urgently necessary. We decided to act promptly before the management conditions worsen further."
