Unity announced on the 6th that it will hold the global developer conference 'Unite Seoul 2025' at COEX in Seoul on April 15.

'Unite' is Unity's flagship global developer conference, and this year it will operate under the slogan 'Create Today, Grow Tomorrow,' featuring announcements of the Unity engine roadmap, latest features, and over 30 technical sessions.

In particular, a program called 'Unite Seoul X Indie Project' will be established for indie game creators. This program will provide an opportunity to showcase projects developed based on Unity and participate in live showcases. In addition, the developer who ranks first in preference during the showcase will receive a cash prize along with a nomination for the 'Unity Award' and the opportunity for project assistance from Unity experts. Applications will be accepted until the 27th of this month.

The conference will also introduce the development process of Unity-based projects and case studies utilizing the latest features. The Odyssey development team will share their experience in developing the Souls-like game 'Belaster,' while Seon-seob Shim, CEO of 'Lizard Smoothie,' which pioneered the MOBA Roguelike genre, will present the development process of 'Shape of Dream,' along with Unity gaming services and expertise in artificial intelligence (AI).
