Kia Tigers' Yoon Do-hyun will start as third baseman.
Manager Lee Beom-ho announced the starting lineup for the second game of the 2025 professional baseball season against the NC Dinos, held on the 23rd at Gwangju-Kia Champions Field. He utilized his classmate Yoon Do-hyun as third baseman instead of Kim Do-young, who is sidelined due to a hamstring injury.
The starting lineup includes Park Chan-ho (shortstop), Choi Won-joon (center fielder), Na Sung-bum (right fielder), Wisdom (first baseman), Choi Hyung-woo (designated hitter), Kim Sun-bin (second baseman), Lee Woo-sung (left fielder), Han Joon-soo (catcher), and Yoon Do-hyun (third baseman).
Kim Do-young was replaced after reaching base on a hit in the second at-bat of the third inning in the opening game the day before, due to left hamstring pain. Following an examination, he was diagnosed with an injury and is expected to be sidelined for a significant period.
The manager chose Yoon Do-hyun as an alternative for third baseman. He had early on identified Yoon Do-hyun as a substitute infielder if primary infielders were sidelined, and he executed this plan on the day. For the No. 2 batting order, he named Choi Won-joon.
Kim Do-young was removed from the roster that day.
